The unique geographical location literally opens up five national parks that can be visited in one-day trips – Paklenica, Krka River, Plitvice Lakes, Northern Velebit and Kornati. In front of the city of Zadar is the Zadar archipelago, a system of islands and the largest island, Dugi otok.
