Sukosan

Sukošan is a picturesque family-friendly seaside town located just 10 km southeast of Zadar in North Dalmatia. It is best known for Marina Dalmacija, one of the largest and most modern marinas on the entire Adriatic, home to hundreds of boats and yachts. Along the coast stretch a number of small pebble beaches and coves with shallow water, perfectly suited to families with young children. The hinterland is covered with traditional olive groves, which give the whole area its characteristic Dalmatian charm. Thanks to its proximity to Zadar and its airport, Sukošan is an excellent base – within minutes you can be in the historic centre of Zadar with all its sights, restaurants and cultural life, while still enjoying the peace of a smaller town. From here it's just a short ferry ride to the islands of Ugljan and Pašman, ideal for day trips.
