The island of Pag in North Dalmatia is one of Croatia's most distinctive islands – linked to the mainland by a bridge in the south near Karlobag and by a ferry in the north between Prizna and Žigljen. Its bare, rocky, moon-like landscape was shaped by the bora wind and salty mist, giving the island a truly unique character. This is where the famous Pag cheese comes from, made from the milk of sheep grazing on salty pastures, along with Pag lace, listed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. Near Novalja lies the legendary Zrće beach, Croatia's most famous party beach with summer music festivals and club life until dawn, while other parts of the island offer quiet family coves and the town of Pag itself with its traditional salt pans. Among the local specialities is the flavourful Pag lamb. The island lies just a short distance from Zadar and Nin, making mainland day trips easy. We offer a wide range of apartments and private accommodation directly from the owners, with no commission. Weather on the island of Pag
